Domestic
At IWEC, we understand that a house is also a home. Our electricians carry out work in a respectful manner, ensuring cleanliness, safety and good workmanship in order to complete our electrical service with the minimum disruption.
We will assist you with technical advice and provide a detailed quotation for any electrical works required. A competent electrician will be designated to your project, providing their professional assistance from concept to completion.
As stated in the current IEE Wiring Regulations (17th Edition) BS7671, the following recommendations are advised to ensure the safety of the electrical installation within your premises.
- A maximum period of 10 years is recommended between a Periodic Inspection and Test (PIR) on the electrical installation of domestic properties
- As a Landlord, your rented accommodation should have a Periodic Inspection and Test (PIR) carried out every 5 years or change of tenancy
- A valid Periodic Inspection and Test (PIR) is required when selling a property
- If any electrical additions or alterations are carried out within your property, you should expect to receive a completion certificate to verify the electrical safety
